Buckingham Court is situated very close to the heart of Middleton on Sea village centre which has a variety of local shops including post office/general store, pharmacy, family butcher and newsagent.

Middleton-on-Sea is situated half way between Bognor Regis and Littlehampton and has a sandy beach with a shingle bank between timber groynes. The coastline is unusual due to the eight sea defence rock islands that dominate the coastline to the East of the Parish.
