Redwood House is very conveniently situated and only a few minutes walk from the Post Office, Library, Clinic, Bank, Supermarket, Newsagent, Greengrocers, Doctors and Hairdresser.

Just a few minutes drive will bring you to the M56, and this provides easy access to major cities such as Chester and Liverpool. The bus service is very good to Manchester and the surrounding areas, with rail links from Manchester city centre to all over the country.

Northenden is located in the southern end of the city of Manchester, approximately 5 miles from the city centre. It lies on the south side of both the River Mersey and the M60 motorway.

Northenden hosts the Northenden Farmers Market which is held twice monthly on the first and third Saturday of each month. The Market offers a great selection of meat, fish, fruit and vegetables, olives, pies, bakery goods, specialty cheeses, poultry and homemade confectionery.

The Countryside of the Peak District and North Wales is accessible from the motorway system.
