Swn-y-mor is centrally located, being close to the pedestrianised town centre with its excellent shopping facilities and a wide range of cafes and restaurants. A short walk down Marine Road leads to the Promenade.

Colwyn Bay is a delightful coastal town and has all the attractions to make a happy and complete retirement. There are sandy beaches and pleasant walks along the Promenade which runs between Rhos-on-Sea and Old Colwyn. Eirias Park offers numerous recreational facilities, including swimming, bowls and tennis as well as beautiful gardens and children’s play area. Pwllycrochan Woods behind the town have been laid out with a network of leafy walks and on a nearby hillside is the famous Welsh Mountain Zoo. If you wish to travel further afield, Conway and Chester, both steeped in history, are within easy reach via excellent road and rail links.
