Homelatch House is ideally situated close to local shops and amenities. The shopping precinct which includes the Arndale Centre, is within walking distance whilst the main post office, library and Eastbourne Station are also nearby.

Eastbourne is one of the largest resorts on the south coast. A wide variety of entertainment is available including celebrity and orchestral concerts, ballet and opera, plus an abundance of sporting facilities. Among the towns many fine parks and gardens are: the Carpet Gardens along the seafront, Hampden Park, two miles inland, and the Italian Gardens at the foot of Beachy Head, west of the town.
